How to access to the MMLS page?
- MMLS is accessible from the following URL
:
http://mmlscyber.mmu.edu.my (for
Cyberjaya campus) or
http://mmlsmelaka.mmu.edu.my (for
Melaka campus)

What is my student ID and password?
Your student ID is in numerical form. The
ID that is given to you once you are registered with MMU.(If you
are not sure, you can refer to your smartcard).
Your password is the same password that you use for your course
registration purpose. This password is provided by ICEMS.
3.
I have forgotten my password. How do I retrieve it?
From the homepage, click on the button Forgot
Password. Key in you ID on the provided box. The password
will be sent to your MMU Webmail. Contact us if you are still unable
to login.
4.
Is the password case sensitive?
No, the password is not case sensititive.
5.
I have changed my password today. I am very sure that my ID and
password is correct. However, I am still unable to login to MMLS.
If you have changed the password in ICEMS
today, you can only login to MMLS on the next day. MMLS database
is only updated every night.
6.
I am unable to view some of the MMLS content.
Most of the MMLS contents (under Learning
Objects) are developed using Macromedia Flash. Therefore, you will
need to install the Flash player plugin in your computer. The link
to the plugin is given in the MMLS mainpage (http://mmlscyber.mmu.edu.my
or http://mmlsmelaka.mmu.edu.my).
7.
I am unable to use the chat feature.
You will need to install the Java plugin in
order to use the chat feature. The link to the plugin is given in
the MMLS mainpage (http://mmlscyber.mmu.edu.my or http://mmlsmelaka.mmu.edu.my).
8. Where
is MMLS database taken from?
MMLS database is taken from the ICEMS database.
Therefore, the changes in course in ICEMS will also affect MMLS
(e.g, course registration, add/drop course, change password). The
changes will only be effective on the following day.
9. What is
the view that the lecturers can see?
The lecturers will see the same view as the
students. Upon finish uploading, click "home" and then
click on the subject name. That is the view that your students will
see.
10. Can a
lecturer view the announcements posted by another lecturer for the
same subject?
Yes, you can view announcements posted by
another lecturer for the same subject. There are two places where
you can view announcements:-
i) From the homepage (after you have logged in). You can scroll
the announcements.
ii) From the Course Profile page.
11. Can I
view other than my registered courses?
You can search for other courses offered in
Cyberjaya and Melaka by using the Search function
(upon logging in).
12. What
is the maximum file size that lecturers can upload?
Lecturers are allowed to upload files that
are less than 2Mb.
13. How do
I contact MMLS team if I face any problem?
You may use the Helpdesk feature.
Helpdesk is only accessible after logging in. If you
are not even able to login, please refer to the "Contact Us"
link on http://mmlscyber.mmu.edu.my
(for Cyberjaya campus) or
http://mmlsmelaka.mmu.edu.my (for
Melaka campus). Please contact the system support personnel if you
face problems related to the system.
14. What
is the procedure to place banner in MMLS?
Club/Society of MMU
Please get prior approval from STAD officer.
Only approved banners will be advertised in MMLS. The approval must
be in black and white (either official letter or official e-mail
from STAD officer). This service is free of charge only for clubs
and societies.
Start-up
Company and Lecturers (only lecturers who wish to advertise events
that generate income for personal interest, e.g; short courses/training)

15. What is the specification of the banner?
Please provide jpeg, gif or flash file with
the dimension 238 X 80 pixels and file size less than 15KB. E-mail

16. What
is the payment procedure?
We will issue an official invoice from Multimedia
University. Payment can be in cash or crossed cheque payable to
Multimedia University.
